2016 Giraudon Blanc Aligoté Bourgogne $16.99/$13.99/$12.59

The Giraudon family has been farming and making wine for centuries. Fresh, clean and minerally with beautifully pure ripeness of fruit. Because this grape historically produced lean, dry white wines, one of the Dukes of Burgundy created the “kir” cocktail years ago by adding crème de cassis to Aligoté wine. New vintage.

2016 Emile Balland Coteaux du Giennois Blanc Loire $15.99/$12.19/$10.97

The young and talented Emile Balland started his domaine in 1999. The Ballands have been making wines in the Loire since 1650. 100% Sauvignon Blanc from 50-60 year old vines in clay limestone soils. “Rosé should be sunshine in a glass. It can be enjoyed in all seasons and is the most food friendly wine. Our goal is to produce a Loire style rosé.
